Private Yoga Instruction

I personally love to work with clients one-on-one, as it is often the equal relationship of teacher to student that develops some of the most profound life changes. From a foundation of trust and equanimity, we are able to deeply explore both known and unknown areas of the mind-body connection in meditation, asana (pose), and pranayama (breath). see what some students have to say

I offer three forms of yoga through in-home or studio instruction:

Hatha Yoga offers deep breath meditation and focus within poses held for a longer period of time, and is wonderful for those students just starting out in yoga, and students who enjoy developing inner peace through stillness.

Vinyasa Yoga allows us to flow through sequences of poses on the breath in a meditation on movement and repetition, and can be both a deeply energetic and insightful experience. With the mind and body occupied, the spirit is released. If you are hoping to combine your yoga series with an aerobic workout, this is the yoga for you.

Restorative Yoga works with soft props and blankets to accommodate a pose to your body, rather than your body to a pose. This form of yoga is excellent for all students, especially those emerging from injuries and illness…or just after “one of those” weeks! You will find that your body opens far more in support and kindness, so be kind to yourself.

Your first session includes a consultation based on your own responses to the Balance and Breath intake. Each class involves a flowing sequence of traditional yoga poses that, based on your outlined goals, include gentle postures to stretch the body and calm the mind, and challenging poses to increase the natural strength and balance of core muscles.

Cost for session including travel: 125$
Each additional person: 25$
